tu ajoutes ces 2 lignes dans le fichier : prefs.js du répertoire
thunderbird ou mozilla-thunderbird de ton /home/xxx.default
user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.http", "/chemin/vers/firefox");
user_pref("network.protocol-handler.app.https", "/chemin/vers/firefox");
bien sur tu corriges chemin vers firefox par /usr/......
