Here is an idea to try. Turn on security auditing for spool directory for maybe 10 minutes. (The event log will be huge.) Set the Security event log maximum size to like 5 MB. In the local security policy, enable auditing for Object Access. On the spool directory properties, add the everyone group for auditing. Clear the event security log. Let it log for 10-15 minutes. Remove the everyone group from auditing. This would work best if the Imail services were running under something other than system account, but it may help.
