Re: [Declude.JunkMail] user settings
As someone else said there are several ways to do it. I assume you have a nobody alias in place, which is a bad idea. It's much better to have individual addresses defined in the gateway to avoid getting slammed by dictionary attacks. If you don't want to do it manually, you can use Sandy's utilities to synchronize the users between IMail and Exchange. Another way to handle individual addresses if you want to stick with the nobody alias is to set up an account for the terminated employee (e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED]) and then forward all mail to it to the NUL mailbox (e.g. [EMAIL PROTECTED]). The email will still go through any scanning you have in place, though, so I would only recommend this as a temporary stopgap for the better solution of synchronizing the user base as above. Synchronizing also has the benefit of delivering a bounce message back to the sender that the user no longer exists, so they can then contact via alternate means if desired...instead of getting no response at all. Re: [Declude.JunkMail] user settings
Pre Declude 2.0, this will in fact delete the message for every recipient if a single recipient has the DELETE action applied to the message. Somewhere in the 2.0.x versions the behavior was changed, however this created other sorts of problems and the next version, 2.0.6 will again change the behavior by setting DELETE back to the old way of working, and a new action will apparently be created that only deletes for recipients, but it may have other effects. So for now, it isn't a good idea to assume that DELETE will not affect the entire message. RE: [Declude.JunkMail] user settings
Are you using JM Pro? This is an option: Create a userid.junkmail file in the domain directory and then set a WEIGHT of -10 and do a delete on it. You will want to wait for the 2.0.6 version so that it will only delete that users copy of the mail.
