I reset WAITFORMAIL to 0 and the 25% utilization behavior returned on
all machines that exhibited it before. The one box that didn't show
this behavior was W2k instead of 2k3.

What still isn't explained is the 50% utilization behavior after only
one message sent. Now that the problem is solved, the investigation
takes lower priority ;-)

Remote Access to see this ?

with Declude 3.5.23. Are you seeing this behavior as well?

We are running Declude Version 3.0.5.23 with JunkMail and Virus Pro on two 
dual-proc servers and are not seeing this.  I often see the CPU at zero when 
no mail is being processes.
