Re: [Declude.Virus] Stopping bounce messages for "MIME segmentin MIME Preamble" vulnerability

2002-11-15 Thread R. Scott Perry

For the last couple of days, Declude has been catching many "Outlook 'MIME
segment in MIME Preamble' Vulnerability" messages. They have all been SPAM.
I don't want to send any bounce messages (for this vulnerability) to my
users.

Is this OK?
SKIPIFVIRUSNAMEHAS Outlook 'MIME segment in MIME Preamble' Vulnerability

Would the blank spaces in the "virus name" cause a problem?

That should work fine.

You may instead want to use:

SKIPIFVIRUSNAMEHAS Vulnerability

which will prevent the notifications from getting sent out for any
vulnerability (as most of them tend to be spam, in which case the bounce
message will go to an innocent victim).
