Re: [libreoffice-design] Mission ... I mean ... Team Completed?

2011-02-16 Thread Gareth Edwards
Hi all,

I'm new to the LibreOffice project, not having been involved with
OpenOffice.org. I'm in no way artistic so I haven't contributed anything to
this mailing list yet and I won't be contributing anything to the visual
design side of things apart from the odd comment or two. I have been lurking
here almost since the list's inception, but with the kick-off well under way
and the UX side of things about to ramp up, I thought it was time to finally
introduce myself!

OpenOffice.org certainly has its fair share of UX issues, but I've been
following the excellent work the developers have been doing in cleaning up
the code, which gives me the belief that this new project will enable
similar improvements to the UI.

Looking forward to getting started.

Gareth Edwards

Hi all,

just a short question whether you think that the team's description is
complete. If yes (everybody checks his neighbor), then I'd like to
continue with the kick-off ... and blog about us.

If you think something (or somebody is missing), please add your stuff
within the next 24 hours - thanks!!!

I'm really interest in UX Design and Usability - bringing real users
experience in further development. But I want to be a lurker for some
more time, so I didn't add my stuff to the team description.

kind regards / herzliche grüße

I'm interested in Webdesign and as I descripted here [1] in some kind of
barrierfree websites. But as Irmhild scripted I want to look first about
your work, so I didn't add my stuff, too.

As I'm very very busy at my work, I have no time to really participate
so I didn't tried to add my description.

However, I'll try to send some messages as soon as possible.

Thanks,
and bravo for your work on icons !
