Hi, I also made a version that I think might be easier for the user to
go through

Opinions are welcome :)

Re: [libreoffice-design] A new design for Libreoffice 6

2017-10-07 Thread Anxhelo Lushka

Hi Alex,

Thank you very much for your engagement, but you should know that the
LibreOffice mailing lists do not support attachments so none of us can
see them, can you please upload them somewhere else and send the link here?

Thanks a lot!

Cheers,
Anxhelo

Dear LibreOffice design team

I am a high school student, and for a hobby I do Graphics Design. So, I decided
to create a new design for the upcoming LibreOffice 6, because I love
LibreOffice. I present to you my designs. They are in inkscape svg format, and
have many advanced components, like clips and drop shadows, but inkscape will
definitely open it. Moreover, I use Futura bold and FuturaTEE as fonts, which I
downloaded as free for commercial use, so I think there won't be any legal
problems concerning this. The fonts and the design are attached as svg and
tar.gz containing otf files respectively. Also I attached a pdf file of my
design exported by inkscape.
Your's faithfully,
Alex Angelou

Re: [libreoffice-design] B/W external logo vector file

2016-11-04 Thread Anxhelo Lushka
Hello, you could use the usual logo vector, invert it in Inkscape to B/W
and remove the Document foundation part. I would gladly send that to you
but I'm in college right now so I don't have access to my PC.

Re: [libreoffice-design] Logo/Website proposal

2016-11-16 Thread Anxhelo Lushka
Hello Heiko,

I agree. The logo proposal was really good looking and seemed to comply
with LO branding guidelines, although the website part could receive some
changes further on.

A refresh would be nice IMO, but we need more opinions on this, if it goes
through we can present it with LO 5.3 release.

What is the size needed for these icons? I could help with these, but I
wouldn't really pick LibO logo for this purpose.

Re: [libreoffice-design] Icons for installer

2016-12-29 Thread Anxhelo Lushka
The image I sent was not the one with the scaleable icons, I have
rendered them to .ico, the first one as you said to 48x48px and the
others to 32x32px. The .png I sent was rather for illustration, but I
understand what you mean.

On 12/29/2016 06:20 PM, Heiko Tietze wrote:

Not bad but it never scales down to 48 or 32px. And actually I'm not a fan of
those checkboxes that rather stand for a choice than a progress. Our official
icons consists of an installer symbol, which I took as basis for my proposals:
https://wiki.documentfoundation.org/images/d/d4/LibreOffice_Initial_Icons-pre_final.svg
The big one is real art but way too large, unfortunately.
