[Bug 31200] [Dapper] Notification bubble cuts the icon
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/31200 Comment: Since there is no activity on notification-daemon bug upstream yet it might be better to patch rhythmbox to not use an icon in the notification bubbles for the time being. It's a trivial patch (much trivial than patching notification-daemon to fix it, I tried this :), and I can make it if needed. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 34264] Gimp screenshot distortion -- should definitely be fixed before release!
Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/34264 Affects: gimp (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: To replicate this do the following: Open anything, web browser is what I had running. Open the GIMP. File-Acquire-Screenshot- Grab a Single Window, making sure gimp is still on top/in focus. click 'grab', now look at where gimp was in the picture, and you'll see it's all distorted. [Bug 34274] Ejecting a CD/DVD gives Writing data to storage device msg
Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/34274 Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: When I right click on a CD/DVD in nautilus and Eject it, it pops up a dialog that has a progess bar and says Writing data to storage device CD-RW/DVD-ROM Drive. This happens on blank CD-Rs, DVDs, etc, where there obviously is no data to be written. Besides being very misleading and wrong, there are two other problems with it: the D in Drive is capitalized, and it says Please do not remove the device while this operation is in progress -- which obviously I can't since it hasn't ejected yet! -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 34276] If GLSlideshow is inherently broken, then remove it.
Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/34276 Affects: gnome-screensaver (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: There is currently no way to configure the GLSlideshow screensaver to display ~any~ pictures with gnome-screensaver. I'm not a fan of the anything that requires configuration is inherently broken mantra. But if you can't manually move/link your pictures to a directory GLSlideshow will recognize, then isn't it broken, too? It took me half an hour to realize that we have to use the Pictures gallery screensaver instead of GLSlideshow to get any image to display in a screensaver. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
