Yes, that would make sense because if it's a modal dialog, you can't type in the main application window anyway. That's the only case I see where stealing the focus is OK, and it's not really stealing because that's what a modal dialog does *by definition*. The only question remaining is what would make sense when a new window opens right where the mouse is currently located (assuming focus follows mouse). Public bug reported: Binary package hint: epiphany-browser In epiphany on dapper I could type in a search query, my inquisitive and inspiring query hit enter and it would search this query on google. Now, unless my query is only one word i get a dialog box stating that The url is invalid. [Bug 62973] Rhythmbox is confused by two CD drives
Public bug reported: I have 2 optical drives. If I start rhythmbox and insert an audio cd in say drive 1, rhythmbox will recognise the cd, find information and cover art for it, but will refuse to play it (stop sign next to the track name). Now if remove the CD from the drive and put it in the second drive without restarting rhythmbox, I will be able to play the CD.
