[Bug 124142] Two shortcuts per chapter in Side Pane

2007-07-05 Thread Odinson
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

This occurs in a pdf I generated via latex. It's creative commons so
you can just download it an see for yourself.

http://www.thickerthanbloodthebook.com/book1/Thicker-Than-Blood.pdf

Here are the relevant lines of the .tex file

\documentclass[12pt,novel,nonsubmission,notitle]{sffms}

States,USA,NSA,Allah,prescription,drugs,doctor,nda,supersoldier,hacking,hacker,robotics},

\chapter*{Version}
\begin{center}\textbf{The latest version can always be found at
\href{http://www.thickerthanbloodthebook.com}{http://www.thickerthanbloodthebook.com}}\end{center}

And so forth. You can get the full file here,
http://www.thickerthanbloodthebook.com/book1/Thicker-Than-Blood.tex
The .pdf file is generated with texi2pdf.

I don't recall requesting a TOC in the code anywhere. Nor does one show
up in other viewers (kpdf,adobe reader) I used hyperlinks (The
\pdfbookmark tag) to note important points in the book. In this case it
happens to be chapters plus special chapters (cover,title,etc). TOC
only linked numerated chapters, which was not OK. This bug is showing
behavior similar to when I had both TOC active and bookmarks in place.

My apologies in advance if there is a flaw in my .tex.

[Bug 124152] visual glitch?

2007-07-05 Thread stas
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Once I maximize any of my apps windows, the application bar becomes
deselectable meaning i cannot left or right click minimize,
maximize, close buttons. You can mouse over them and click all you want
but the clicks' responses are as though I am clicking on the desktop. I
attempted changing themes and reverting to defaults but it didn't seem
to do anything. Also, I disabled all the effects, but that didn't seem
to fix it either.

[Bug 119679] Re: Reboot after quit Chess game

2007-07-05 Thread Sebastien Bacher
 gnome-games (1:2.19.4-0ubuntu1) gutsy; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream release (2.19.4):
 * General changes:
   - GamesConf, an API for storing user preferences has been added
 to libgames-support. GamesConf allows the games to store preferences
 using either GConf or flat files (#448432).
   - Mingw32 compilation fixes for libgames-support (#448317).
   - Correct icon names in desktop files (#444777).
   - Check for gcc before adding -fsigned-char parameter (#445556).
 Aisleriot:
   - Port Aisleriot to the new GamesConf API (#448432).
   - Support for compiling Aisleriot with mingw32 (bug #448317).
   - Don't use anonymous structs (#444802).
 Mines:
   - Only redraw the necessary fields when clicking on a mine (#375691).
 glChess:
   - Use correct pid not 0 for killing AIs (Bug #443073).
 This is a severe bug that causes the X server to be
 killed accidentally on some systems.
 Sudoku:
   - Ensure that g_thread_init is called before all other GLib functions.
 Fedora bug #241917.
   - Disable saving and loading.
   - Don't allow grey fields to be changed by mouse (#422666).

   * New upstream release (2.19.3):
  * Aisleriot:
   - Aisleriot has recieved a mayor overhaul thanks to Christian Persch,
 which includes:
 - Port Aisleriot to the Maemo platform. This is the first of the games
   which are aviailable on a this handheld platform. Hopefully, the
other
   games will be ported later.
 - GTK+ only port. This will enable a win32 port of Aisleriot, without
   the libgnome dependencies.
 - Code refactoring.

   - Bugfixes as a byproduct of the refactorings: #337080, #386827, #338466,
 #329183, #352084, #347448, #438079.
  * General:
   - GStreamer support to all the gnome-games. This means that gnome-games
 now requires GStreamer = 0.10. The common sound code is integrated
 into libgames-support. The sounds are stored in /sounds in ogg vorbis
 format, which will reduce the total size of the gnome-games tarball.
   - Use new Tango icons from Daniel Derozier
   - Application icons now in icons/

[Bug 121009] Inkscpe hints show HTML tags improperly (screenshot attached)

2007-07-05 Thread lefty.crupps
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Binary package hint: inkscape

Inkscape's hints/tips show the actual HTML tags rather than properly
making the font bold. Please see the tooltip at the bottom of the
Inkscape window in the attached screenshot.

Kubuntu 7.04 with Inkscape 0.45 using a Monospace font size 8, which can
be bolded.

Rather than being properly bold in the tooltip, there are only tags. A
picture is worth a thousand words but this bug reporting tool won't let
me submit the report without more text, and I cannot attach that image
until after this is report is of acceptable length. I don't know what
more to say, why won't this get accepted? Its a minor bug and doesn't
need pages of detail for the report. Bug #106772 doesn't have nearly as
much written here as I do and it seems that Launchpad accepted that
report.

Thank you!

Ok, I tested it with other themes: human, ashes, oransun, and others - so it's
probably gnome-panel bug.
Different icons dissappear, not all, mostly single ones, or 2.

BTW: I'm returning my laptop from sleep frequently - I don't know if it has to

[Bug 124053] Re: edit button doesn't get disabled after adding/editing mail account

2007-07-05 Thread Juan Pablo Salazar Bertín
I think the upstream bug is not the same. IMHO that bug sounds more like
a wish (last edited account shouldn't lost focus). The edit button not
being disabled after no account is selected is never mentioned, and it
happens when you add a new account also.

[Bug 124128] Re: unable to edit account information

2007-07-05 Thread hggdh
I cannot reproduce any of the errors you report. Can you please run
Evolution from the command line, try it again, and post any output
produced in the terminal?

And, no, Evo is not alpha (nor beta). It is production, and reasonably
stable.

2007-07-05 Thread Stefan Kost
As one of the gtk-doc contributors I second that request. For
consistency reason it would also be great if you don't symlink the docs
around. Please leave glib/gtk+ docs under $prefix/share/gtk-doc/html/.

I tried to reproduce the issue, but got hit by bug 106504... I will need
somebody else to try it.

@nehephemet -- by your last comment it sounds like the search works, but
it is restricted to the current month. Is my understanding correct?

[Bug 116870] Re: [gutsy] GSlice: g_thread_init() Warning messages

2007-07-05 Thread adam kumpf
I realize there is a bit of dispute over whether or not this is a bug in
GLib or the applications that are using GLib, but regardless, it seems
to have an effect on a handful of programs. Could this be a case of an
older bug in GLib that was fixed but possibly now breaks existing apps
that depended on that bug?

For the app I am running (JOGL/SWT in Java) the warning message is not
just a nuisance, it is immediately followed by a stack trace and the end
of my program's happy execution. :(

[Bug 123537] Re: installing software from automatix2

2007-07-05 Thread philh
As hggdh said previously, I reported this as the error came from gnome-
panel (ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/gnome-panel).

Or am I missing something really obvious?

Many thanks, phil
