[Bug 844081]

2015-09-06 Thread Jefa
Why would anyone oppose adding such a small and useful feature? I don't
understand why this has sat here, unanswered, for four years!

[Bug 1401207] Re: No 'Select-by-word characters' property

2015-09-06 Thread Chris West
To restore the pre-wily behaviour, you need to use dconf, as per:

https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=730632#c33

Note that the use of colons there is /crazy/. Yes, there is :/: in
there.

1) edit -> profile preferences -> the General tab on your profile has its
Profile ID, e.g. b1dcc9dd-5262-4d8d-a863-c897e6d979b9
2) check you've got the syntax right with:

$ dconf list
/org/gnome/terminal/legacy/profiles:/:b1dcc9dd-5262-4d8d-a863-c897e6d979b9/
foreground-color
visible-name
palette
use-system-font
...

If it returns nothing, you've got it wrong; try again.

3) dconf write
/org/gnome/terminal/legacy/profiles:/:b1dcc9dd-5262-4d8d-a863-c897e6d979b9
/word-char-exceptions '@ms

[Bug 1325063] Re: Gedit preferences windows is empty

2015-09-06 Thread Tianyu Liu
For me, this is caused by disabling the plugin "Insert Date and Time".

Thanks to Jens, using "LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libpeas-gtk-1.0.so.0 gedit"
to open Gedit and change Preference to re-enable the plugin solved the
problem.

[Bug 1246908] Re: ~/.gimp-2.8 directory and everything inside is owned by root

2015-09-06 Thread pabouk
Try to rename the Gimp directory:

1. stop all the Gimp processes
2. sudo mv "$USER/.gimp-2.8" "$USER/.gimp-2.8-backup"
3. sudo mv ~root/.gimp-2.8 ~root/.gimp-2.8-backup

If after this operation everything works you can remove the
.gimp-2.8-backup directories.

Re: [Bug 1094744] Re: MS Sculpt Touch Mouse needs to be re-paired periodically

2015-09-06 Thread Marcos Alano
Did you try add the OUI for your mouse in
/usr/share/gnome-bluetooth/pin-code-database.xml? I thinks there is
many differents OUIs for this model.

PS.: Post your OUI here so I can create and send a patch.

[Bug 1492783] [NEW] GPS does not work on my Bq E5

2015-09-06 Thread Stuart Langridge
Public bug reported:

I have a Bq E5 (not an E4.5) and the GPS does not seem to work. The
SensorsStatus app shows GPS as returning no results for location (every
reading ("Latitude", "Longitude", etc) is shown as a dash, except
"Method" which is "Satellite" and "Speed" which is "nan") . I have
attached various logfiles in the hope that they will help. I have tried
turning off location detection and GPS and turning them back on again,
to no avail. I have also tried turning off wifi, to no avail.
