Remove/comment out the last two options should fix the problem.

#Option "TearFree" "true"
#Option "DRI" "3"

[Bug 1809826] [NEW] Gnome Activites view on multiple desktops wrong applications

2018-12-26 Thread Austin Lehman
Public bug reported:

I have 2 monitors and have configured through tweak tool on the
"Workspaces" tab "Dynamic Workspaces" and "Workspaces span displays".
Everything is working as advertised except that when I hit the
Meta/Windows key or use hot corner to open the Gnome Activities view on
the second monitor only it shows the application windows for all 2nd
monitor workspaces together. On the primary monitor it only shows the
applications that exist for that monitor on that workspace. I believe it
should show on the 2nd display only the applications that exist for that
display in the current work space. This is how it functioned on the
previous version of Ubuntu I was using prior to install of Ubuntu 18.10.

Thanks!

Description:Ubuntu 18.10
Release:18.10
Gnome 3.30.1

2018-12-26 Thread spm2011
Still experiencing this with Bionic gnome-shell 3.28.3-0ubuntu0.18.04.3

I was actually able to move the mouse for a second before the lock
screen appeared.

[Bug 1809813] [NEW] unable to configure additional keyboard

2018-12-26 Thread Jens Harms
Public bug reported:

After adding a second keyboard to my computer i tried to change the keyboard
layout. i want a "german" layout for my old keyboard and a "us" layout for my
new keyboard.
I tried to create a "inputclass" section in /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.de" wich
sets "xkb_layout" to "us" by using "matchUSBID" but the settings do not work.
The gnome keyboard settings doesn't offer a way to change the layout for a
specific keyboard.

[Bug 1244090] Re: Pressing any global keyboard shortcut causes temporary loss of focus

2018-12-26 Thread Dmitry Gusev
The bug is still there. Working with data in two languages is almost
unbearable. Each time I search for info within sheets and change the
layout I have to grab a mouse and click on the search window again.
