[Bug 1897754] Re: flameshot: The icon does not appear in the GNOME bar

2021-01-05 Thread Kai Groner
I've also had this problem with the flameshot icon disappearing after
upgrading to 20.04.

Reverting to gnome-shell-extension-appindicator 33-1 has fixed it for
now, but having broken dependencies isn't good (even if things seem to
be working).

Comments on https://github.com/flameshot-org/flameshot/issues/1206 also suggest
this problem doesn't occur with the flameshot snap. Testing the deb package
specifically may be a good idea.

It doesn't appear always. The session may close suddenly (may be when I
do something with a file on the desktop) and more often when I put the
computer in stand-by mode and awake it again.

[Bug 1910235] [NEW] The mouse stops working after taking a screenshot

2021-01-05 Thread Andrey Plaksin
Public bug reported:

Steps to reproduce this bug:

1. Open Chromium browser.
2. Go to the page with the form in which there is a standard browser drop-down
menu (form select)
3. Open it
4. Try to take a screenshot with the keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+PrintScreen
5. Try to switch between applications using the panel and check the operation
of the mouse in other applications besides browser (in my case Slack)

Hello Rohit or anyone else affected,

We have released a new Focal linux kernel (version 5.4.0-59.65) which

report whether it fixes the issue?

Thank you.

[Bug 1898462] Re: [groovy] Drag and drop files from Desktop to Nautilus freezes gnome-shell

2021-01-05 Thread Stefan Bakic
@Timo Aaltonen

What is the expected date for this patch to be merged with a main branch
or whatever. So I could get it with "apt update"?

Thanks
