[Bug 1964442] [NEW] [jammy Regression] signing a changes file in gnome-terminal sends keys to the terminal
Public bug reported: This is a regression not seen until this week (not seen until March 4 at least). Calling debsign from a terminal pops up the window to enter the key, but the terminal is sent continuous keys and the terminal scrolls down with empty input lines. You can still sign the file, however you end up with an empty scroll buffer if the signing takes too long time. ** Affects: gnome-terminal (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: rls-jj-incoming ** Tags added: rls-jj-incoming -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-terminal in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1964442 Title: [jammy Regression] signing a changes file in gnome-terminal sends keys to the terminal To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-terminal/+bug/1964442/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1960621] Re: MATE Desktop session fails to start with NVIDIA 495 & 510 drivers
Hello Martin, I noticed that you pushed a release to Jammy which disables Xpresent to work around this issue. As expected, this re-introduces screen tearing on my system running Intel Iris Xe integrated graphics. I've manually switched to the most recent release with Xpresent still enabled and the tearing is gone. According to bug 1959995, this issue has been fixed in Jammy. you could try to get a backtrace of the illegal instruction, but it's just weird, maybe there are some binaries corrupted on disk or something? [Bug 1962807] Re: segfault in libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 with several programs
At this point I can only think that a change in one of the dependencies of these libraries is the problem. Are any of the other libraries updated in my term.log in the dependency tree of the failing library? If so, perhaps I should first restore the libgail-common and then back level that package. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gtk+2.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1962807 Title: segfault in libgtk-x11-2.0.so.0 with several programs To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gtk+2.0/+bug/1962807/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1964136] Re: Settings item not shown in System menu
> Here's a better list of affected packages Could you provide details on why you think it's a better list? The patch renames the dbus entry point, which means that applications trying to spawn setting over dbus will need to be update. As a testcase build gnome-control-center with the suggested patch, then try to open online accounts from the gnome-calendar popdown menu, it doesn't work anymore.
