[Bug 1874630] Re: not start without sudo

2020-05-29 Thread AdlerHorst
I checked this. Ubuntu-software is installed and in use. So I added this
ticket to the wrong package. The problem seems caused by the fact, that
launchpad tells me that ubuntu-software do not exist.

[Bug 1874626] [NEW] dav path not complete

2020-04-24 Thread AdlerHorst
Public bug reported:

If I open this kind of path (Nextcloud):
davs://{SERVER}/remote.php/dav/files/{USER@DOMAIN}

Nautilus shows me the correct directory but setup the rootpath to
davs://{SERVER}/remote.php/dav/

The Problem is, that I'n not able to use the mounted path for anything
because I'm not able to navigate into the directory /files/

Please change behavior that way that if I enter a directory path to open
a path, it should be set as the route of the Mount in whole.

[Bug 1311317] Re: the second screen is black except a smal stripe

2019-01-29 Thread AdlerHorst
Wow, you dug up a very old bug. 😉

I'm not sure if my multi monitor issue in this version (18.04), that I'm
not able to switch left and right Monitor, is a variant of it. At
moment, it's not possible to set my left monitor as Secondary Monitor
(my TV) and the right as primary. It may work temporary but the system
lost these settings sometimes and sometimes it moves my desktop Icons
randomly, after a reboot from one monitor to the other.

I never had the originally described error on newer Version. The Monitor
(TV + Desktop) setting is the same but not the PC and also not the
Ubuntu version.

Re: [Bug 1811937] Re: Networkmanager shows network profiles on wrong network

2019-01-22 Thread AdlerHorst
In this case I use Ubuntu 18.04. On another device with Ubuntu 18.10 I
have the same UI problem.

Because the view in the Pop-down usually reflect the same wrong
appearance as the configuration dialogue, I thought that both may have
the same source of error. This case where the Pop-down not appear with a
network icon and text (only happened on 18.04) also only exist in the
configuration with an USB-Thetering. It's finally only a UI problem, the
Network configuration is working without Problem.

[Bug 1765390] Re: printer settings: add switch for disable autodetect and add

2018-05-02 Thread AdlerHorst
Sorry for that. I only described the Problem with the Printer
Concept/Workflow that is used in Ubuntu. In my opinion this is one
Issue, I'm not able to get what is working in Background and what is
working how in Background. I'm not familiar with the responsibility in
the deep of your developing. In my opinion I don't have to. I barley
able to manage to report in this strange and absolute not intuitive Web
surface (see also [Bug 1765667] ). I like Ubuntu, but not that much that
I would learn to develop some apps. So please do this for me. I'm
wondering also that you allow accepting Bugs to this package but are not
able to send it further to the correct address. Maybe there is a need of
a Feature Request for a better Work-flow in this reporting tool 😉 .

[Bug 1765667] [NEW] [Feature Request] enhance Apport with a usefull GUI to fill a complete bugreport.

2018-04-20 Thread AdlerHorst
Public bug reported:

this little Window which you get if you start apport-bug is not realy
helpfull. in my opinion, if you click on "Other problem. ther must be an
automatic step that do https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/FindRightPackage#Any
and allow to point on the Application you which to report.

Enhance it with a Printscreen/screenrecording and allow to enhance it with some
Text and arrows.
In background you collect your data.

At the end calculate the logs, anonymize some information
(/home/max.muster -> /home/USER) and present a Window where People could
Insert some additional Information.

If sending the whole collection not work. Save it in Background and show
a kind of notification. until it got sent.
