Perhaps it's; but I can't test it since no hardware acceleration is supported by free drivers with my graphic processor, so I can't enable Compiz in this case. When there isn't corruption, clicking on the first icon makes to appear a menu with the Preferences, About and Take a break now options. Clicking on the second opens Empathy. When there's corruption, I don't know for sure since I don't know how to reproduce the bug, which happens time to time. When it happens again, I'll try.
