Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: alacarte
Running an XFCE session in 11.4 (problem occurred in the RC as well as the
release)
When I use the XFCE Application menu and then navigate to Settings->Main Menu
which starts Alacarte and then quit Alacarte, my Application Menu is gone.
.config/menus
then holds two files: settings.menu and xfce-applications.menu
(Before it was empty)
They look like the should include the system menu files but they don't. Here is
xfce-applications.menu:
--
http://standards.freedesktop.org/menu-spec/menu-1.0.dtd'>
Xfce
/etc/xdg/menus/xfce-applications.menu
--
If I remove these files, the standard menus are back.
