[Bug 71071] Re: gtk1.2 default installation doesn't need to look so ordinary

2009-08-28 Thread Angelo Lisco
I just tried karmic alpha-4 (ubuntu 9.10) and I was very happy to find that
putty is finally linked against gtk2!
Is it possible to backport the version uploaded in karmic to hardy?

[Bug 194022] Re: Uninstalling compiz leads to GNOME starting with no window manager

2008-04-08 Thread Angelo Lisco
Hi Daniel,
 this is should be fixed in the last upload of gnome-session package
(2.22.1-0ubuntu2)
Can you confirm this? Thanks

 gnome-session (2.22.1-0ubuntu2) hardy; urgency=low
 .
   * debian/patches/19_gnome-wm-tweaking.patch:
 - if compiz is not installed fallback to metacity correctly and
   if that is not availalbe a x-window-terminal-emulator
   * debian/control.in:
 - add missing gnome-keyring build-dependency

** Changed in: gnome-session (Ubuntu)
Sourcepackagename: None = gnome-session
   Status: New = Confirmed

[Bug 135548] Re: [Gutsy] Action on critical battery isn't triggered - regression

2008-04-07 Thread Angelo Lisco
Hi Ted,
 this is a serious regression!
I can confirm that in Gutsy worked. No matter if my battery is broken (30%
capacity)...I expect that g-p-m warns me and shuts my laptop down gracefully
(just like it did in gutsy).
If I can help somehow, let me know.

 can you try to follow the intructions given by Obleak in bug #71071 ?
Does it increase the quality of fonts in gtk1 apps?
