[Bug 412738] Re: Can't record a second sound clip

2009-08-17 Thread Anthony Batchelor
Not easily. I can't upgrade that system until Karmic is out, and the
processor unfortunately doesn't have virtualisation extensions. I can
run a VM on a different machine and try from there.

I forgot to mention, that the recording was done from an external sound
card (M-audio fast track - USB), if that makes a difference.

Can you check under Jaunty to see if you can reproduce the problem?

[Bug 412738] Re: Can't record a second sound clip

2009-08-17 Thread Anthony Batchelor
Ah sorry, I thought you only tried it in Karmic.

If it's working for you in Jaunty and Karmic, then it seems more likely
that it is an issue where the hardware setup is affecting the software,
rather than just the software itself.

[Bug 412738] [NEW] Can't record a second sound clip

[Bug 387012] [NEW] Seahorse can't import keys

2009-06-14 Thread Anthony Batchelor
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: seahorse

I've exported my keys on my laptop using seahorse (once as a multiple
key file, and also separately for each key). However, when I try to
import them on my desktop, there are no error messages, but the keys do
not get imported.

seahorse and the bug affects Jaunty.

[Bug 70733] Re: Python plug-in freezes

2007-01-27 Thread Anthony Batchelor
Hi,
I tried turning them off, at first this didn't work (last year) but it was
part of the same session. I've just tried again with accessibility off (this
time since boot) and it appears to work.

I guess the work a-round for the bug is not to use accessibility. If
you need help with recreating the bug, let me know and I'll see what I
can do.

Cheers,
 Tony

P.S. When it didn't work, my accessibility setting were as follows:
Enable assistive technologies - Ticked
Everything else - not ticked/blank

2006-11-14 Thread Anthony Batchelor
Hi,
The output isn't very useful but I'll post it at the end anyway.

I've not noticed anything else written in python freezing.

I've recently started programming in python and none of my apps or my
trubogears site have frozen.

I'm using edgy with a 2Ghz Athlon + 512mb RAM.

Anything else you need to know?

Output:
