[Bug 2043976] [NEW] Default theme has white highlight and line number background

2023-11-20 Thread Aptivi
Public bug reported:

Classic and Tango color scheme use white background color for the
current line highlight box and the line number background. The problem
is that the text stays white, making them hard to read. All of the other
themes work perfectly and are easy to read.

[Bug 2042681] [NEW] Font hinting on text field placeholder is inconsistent with the rest of the UI

2023-11-03 Thread Aptivi
Public bug reported:

In the "Settings" app, I've noticed that in certain pages where it
contains an editable text field with a placeholder, such as "Device
name" and "User name", the placeholder's font rendering is different and
inconsistent with the rest of the UI. These placeholders have no font
hinting, but the rest of the Settings screen has hinting.

@eeickmeyer I know that it's just an example. I hope that it gets fixed
before 23.10 release.

[Bug 2033688] Re: [mantic] gnome-shell fails to follow accent colours

2023-09-11 Thread Aptivi
For me, it doesn't only affect the quick settings highlights like the
ones seen in the screenshots, but it also affects the calendar highlight
color from the notifications panel and the open app indicator in the
sidebar of the desktop.

[Bug 2035065] [NEW] Quick settings doesn't respect chosen accent color

2023-09-11 Thread Aptivi
Public bug reported:

Ever since the recent updates to the GNOME shell (GNOME 45 RC), the
quick settings color accent found in the buttons and the volume slider
doesn't respect the chosen accent color. Additionally, the calendar in
the notification panel and the dots indicating opened apps in the
taskbar doesn't respect the chosen accent color.

However, other parts of GNOME, like the file explorer, do respect the
chosen accent color.

[Bug 2035064] [NEW] No title bar in Ubuntu Desktop section of settings

2023-09-11 Thread Aptivi
Public bug reported:

Ubuntu settings (gnome-control-center) includes the "Ubuntu Desktop"
section. However, if you click on it, the title bar, as well as the
three buttons (close, maximize, and minimize), disappears. If you then
click on any other section in the left sidebar, the title bar and the
three buttons shows again until you go to the "Ubuntu Desktop" section.

Screenshots are attached to better illustrate the problem.
