[Bug 629444] Re: 100 percent cpu usage and keyboard layouts switching automatically
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 625793 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/625793 I confirm... have just the very same problem. My solution is to kill the process. It leads to disabling of all appearance settings to defaults. Then I go System-Preferences-Keybord and this process runs again and all the settings come back to their places. (no restart is needed). I have 3 layouts: ru, en, ukrainian ubuntu 10.10 i386 HP probook 4515s -- 100 percent cpu usage and keyboard layouts switching automatically https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/629444 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 555122] Re: Cannot adjust brightness in Lucid Lynx
Hi, everyone! Tried out the way it is described in #20 but still nothing. I have HP 4515s and same problem, ether :( But tried to experiment. Just in a moment of startup (when the desktop is shown but not all of processes are loaded) I've pressed the Fn+F8,F7,F11 and F12 to adjust the brightness and volume. The volume is changed and I see it in the right top corner. The brightness changed too but only once. And didn't response on other key pressings. (( Maybe anybody can help to solve this problem? Thanks in advance. -- Cannot adjust brightness in Lucid Lynx https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/555122 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
