[Bug 425256] [NEW] gdm logged out unexpectedly: corrupted double-linked list
Public bug reported: The screensaver was running; I stopped it by pressing a key on the keyboard, then began working with the mouse. A few seconds later, I was logged out unexpectedly. I checked /var/log/gdm/:0.log.1, and noticed that it contained this line, followed by a backtrace: *** glibc detected *** /usr/bin/X: corrupted double-linked list: 0x0a831f30 *** The log file is attached. I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and gdm 2.20.10-0ubuntu2. ** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- gdm logged out unexpectedly: corrupted double-linked list https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/425256 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 346128] Re: Error while burning: the file is not stored locally
Uninstalling Brasero has been a good workaround for me; nautilus-cd- burner works fine. -- Error while burning: the file is not stored locally https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346128 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 346128] [NEW] Error while burning: the file is not stored locally
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: brasero In Ubuntu 8.10, my CD/DVD Creator folder has two Write to Disc buttons, as in the attached screenshot. (I assume this is because of bug 317756.) The top Write to Disc button, which I assume runs brasero, always fails to burn a disc; a dialog always displays the error message Error while burning: the file is not stored locally. The bottom Write to Disc button, which I assume runs nautilus-cd-burner, works fine. ** Affects: brasero (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Error while burning: the file is not stored locally https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/346128 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 75324] Re: Gnome file chooser/selector is way to small
dinhtrung, I tried your workaround, but it causes some dialogs to behave strangely, e.g. the Find dialog in gedit, which is much too big, then resizes itself when you try to close it. -- Gnome file chooser/selector is way to small https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/75324 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 75324] Re: Gnome file chooser/selector is way to small
I started getting this problem after I upgraded to Ubuntu Intrepid. It seems to be randomly intermittent; clicking Open in gedit repeatedly causes it to happen about half the time. [Bug 216739] Re: trash applet shows non-empty icon, while folder is empty

[Bug 85608] Re: trash lists / content due to .trash_entry_cache value
I've just experienced this bug after upgrading from Gutsy to Hardy, but the effects were somewhat different. I emptied the trash using the trash applet, but the applet icon still showed it as full. I opened the trash directory, but it was empty. After reading this bug report, I checked the contents of the .trash_entry_cache file, and saw that files such as /dev/shm, /var/run and /lib/modules/2.6.24-16-generic/volatile/ were listed. I deleted the .trash_entry_cache file, logged out of my X session and logged in again, and the trash applet showed the trash as empty. -- trash lists / content due to .trash_entry_cache value https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/85608 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-applets in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
