[Bug 1069757] Re: [Upstream] Libreoffice: problems with saving docs to directories of Windows networks (through samba-connection)
Note the original issue has been fixed in LibreOffice and gvfs (see history above). Likely whatever is breaking again on 16.04 is a different issue -- and thus should be a new bug, even though it has similar symptoms. Please do NOT reopen this bug on LibreOffice -- if you think this is an issue that needs fixing in LibreOffice (and not in gvfs and friends), please open a NEW bug. I would suggest to close the issue on gvfs on the same rationale (the original bug was fixed) -- but I am not a maintainer there. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gvfs in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1069757 Title: [Upstream] Libreoffice: problems with saving docs to directories of Windows networks (through samba-connection) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/1069757/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1508177] Re: When setting scaling to 2 libreoffice's theme is switched to gtk3
Root cause: Because of: https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=93145 the themes including human" are not self contained anymore. Thus we need to install galaxy along with human, otherwise human would miss icons. We do this. However, on a new install without any ~/.config/libreoffice profile, LibreOffice now defaults to galaxy, not human. This wasnt observed in upgrade migrations and tests as those always had an preexisting profile. ** Changed in: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu) Assignee: (unassigned) => Björn Michaelsen (bjoern-michaelsen) ** Package changed: gtk+3.0 (Ubuntu) => ubuntu ** Description changed: STEPS: 1. [Bug 1214352] Re: [SRU] GUINT32/64_SWAP_LE_BE macros do not enclose val argument in parentheses
Marking this as "Fix released" for glib and LibreOffice in Ubuntu as there are Ubuntu releases where this is fixed. A SRU for Ubuntu 12.04 would need a series target. [Bug 1214352] Re: [SRU] GUINT32/64_SWAP_LE_BE macros do not enclose val argument in parentheses
Just quickly: Of course its insane to rebuild all rdeps. However, this is what would be the only way to fix this properly. A. Heinlein in comment 70 only rebuild the packages between glib and LibreOffice, which fixes the immediate problem, but might cause unforseeable and hard to debug/triage problems with all the other packages depending on glib that were _not_ rebuild. As such it is not recommendable in an production environment. So: upgrading to 14.04 still is the recommended action. @Adam Conrad: Possibly this bug in 12.04 should have a target for 12.04 and be Wont Fix there, just to make this more explicit. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to glib2.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1214352 Title: [SRU] GUINT32/64_SWAP_LE_BE macros do not enclose val argument in parentheses To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/1214352/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 1214352]
(In reply to comment #29) - If you're using the packages from PPA, then the bug should be solved with 4.1.2 (unfortunately the PPA currently stuck with 4.1.1). When it will be updated to 4.1.2, it should work if you also install 'gvfs-backends' and 'libreoffice-gnome' packages. That way it works with Ubuntu 13.10. Note that the ppa has: 1:4.1.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~saucy1~ppa3 1:4.1.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~raring1~ppa1 1:4.1.3~rc2-0ubuntu1~precise1~ppa1 so all versions should be good, unless the bug is in the respective baseline on that ppa. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to glib2.0 in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1214352 Title: GUINT32/64_SWAP_LE_BE macros do not enclose val argument in parentheses To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/df-libreoffice/+bug/1214352/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 740815] Re: [FFe] Updates to enable us to drop xulrunner from main
FWIW, libreoffice and libreoffice-l10n also have xulrunner-dev | firefox-dev. [Bug 752814] Re: Impress not the default app for ODP documents

[Bug 68824] Re: Ubuntu destroys filesystem on attached USB harddrive!
Same thing happened to me: A mounted USB drive with only one partition on it got really messed up. I had the same thing happening to me a week before (that time killing a UFS and a HFS+ partition) but was attributed it to an user error that time. This time, I searched back in /var/log/messages and found this: Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286882.584017] usb 8-2: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 21 Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286882.717067] usb 8-2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286882.717582] hub 8-2:1.0: USB hub found Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286882.717624] hub 8-2:1.0: 4 ports detected Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286882.996129] usb 8-2.2: new low speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 22 Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286883.109560] usb 8-2.2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286883.113027] input: Logitech USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse as /devices/pci:00/:00:1d.7/usb8/8-2/8-2.2/8-2.2:1.0/input/input16 Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286883.152101] input,hidraw0: USB HID v1.10 Mouse [Logitech USB-PS/2 Optical Mouse] on usb-:00:1d.7-2.2 Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286883.240131] usb 8-2.3: new low speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 23 Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286883.354165] usb 8-2.3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286883.359277] input: Unicomp Endura Keyboard as /devices/pci:00/:00:1d.7/usb8/8-2/8-2.3/8-2.3:1.0/input/input17 Feb 25 21:42:38 helium kernel: [286883.416158] input,hidraw1: USB HID v1.10 Keyboard [Unicomp Endura Keyboard ] on usb-:00:1d.7-2.3 Feb 25 21:45:07 helium kernel: [287032.053614] attempt to access beyond end of device Feb 25 21:45:07 helium kernel: [287032.053619] sdc1: rw=0, want=18310001848, limit=976768002 Feb 25 21:45:07 helium kernel: [287032.055239] attempt to access beyond end of device Feb 25 21:45:07 helium kernel: [287032.055243] sdc1: rw=0, want=7309129216, limit=976768002 Feb 25 21:45:07 helium kernel: [287032.072524] attempt to access beyond end of device I (re)attached a keyboard and mouse on an usb hub to the system there. This seems to have messed up a lot of usb stuff (see the sdc1 stuff going wrong directly following it - that didnt happen before). The USB controllers on this machine are USB Controller: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family) USB UHCI Controller #1 (rev 02).
