More information about the bug. 
I restarted the computer changing the hard disk from port (SATA On-the-Go) to 
the Internal SATA 3.0 Gb/s port.
But on Feisty Herd 1 the hard disk was detected on both ports.

There's no /var/log/partman

My hard disk is a brand new SATA

And nothing hapens. No errors, no messages

I tried to execute from Terminal as root: gksu gdmsetup
Same problems
