[Bug 353712] [NEW] [Jaunty] Latest update (1:2.26.0-0ubuntu5) causes problems with dual screens

2009-04-02 Thread Damien Cassou
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Since the update of April 1st, the dual screen support is buggy (it
worked fine yesterday morning and the days before).

- The Gnome panel is now on the laptop screen but it was on the main
screen before (which I prefered).

- Clicking on the maximize button of a window in the main screen does
not maximize it as expected (in fact, it does maximize vertically but
not horizontally): see attached screenshot.

[Bug 229851] Re: CTRL+q to go at the begining instead of CTRL+a

2008-05-14 Thread Damien Cassou
I have just tested with a user created for the test. The bug still
appears. I have two layouts configured: 'USA Macintosh' and 'France
Alternative'.

When using the 'USA Macintosh' layout and the macbook qwerty keyboard,
everything is fine. I can type Ctrl+a to go to the beginning of the
line.

When using the 'France Alternative' layout with my azerty keyboard,
things does not work properly. If I type 'a', the letter 'a' is
correctly printed but CTRL+a does not go to the beginning. I have to
press CTRL+q. If I type 'q', the letter 'q' is correctly printed.

Why do you mark the priority as low? To me, it is a big problem as I
always use shortcuts like this. And I'm probably not the only one.

[Bug 226089] [NEW] 'Show current layout' doesn't show the layout

2008-05-03 Thread Damien Cassou
Public bug reported:

have Hardy on a macbook 4.1. I can either use the 'show current layout'

picture is not shown. Normally, a picture of the layout is displayed as
