[Bug 1870600] [NEW] permissions pane only shows currently-connected snap interfaces

2020-04-03 Thread Daniel Llewellyn
Public bug reported:

The applications applet in Gnome Control Center shows permissions that
can be toggled on and off for installed applications and snap packages.
When viewing a Snap package, only permissions that are currently enabled
(interface is connected in Snap terms). Viewing the same Snap package's
permissions in Gnome Software or the Snap Store Snap you can see that
there are more permissions that can be enabled which are not currently.

I have uploaded an example of both views to highlight the discrepency in
a screenshot at:

This is a really old bug and the versions of Ubuntu it references are
out of support now. Can you verify whether this is still a problem on
Xenial (16.04) or Artful (17.10) and reset the bug to "confirmed" if you
can recreate the issue.

[Bug 957570] [NEW] Rhythmbox' CD Identification _always_ lists genre as Unknown

2012-03-16 Thread Daniel Llewellyn
Public bug reported:

No matter which Music CD I try to identify the track information for,
the Genre is always listed as Unknown while other information such as
track title is present and correct. I have tried numerous Music CDs and
the result has always been the same.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Start Rhythmbox
2) Insert Audio CD
3) in rhythmbox, go to the newly populated devices entry for your CD
4) Note that Genre is listed as Unknown despite the other information being
correct

[Bug 957577] [NEW] Rhythmbox identifies second CD in 2-CD set as identical to the first

2012-03-16 Thread Daniel Llewellyn
Public bug reported:

I have tried importing from CD a few multi-CD sets where there is more
than one CD for each album. It appears that Rhythmbox only identified
the first CD correctly, and misidentifies the second (and potentially
other) CD as the first appears. I.e. the second CD has the same track
listing as the first, which is clearly incorrect by checking the back of
the box.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Start Rhythmbox
2) Insert first disc of multidisc set
3) Verify that the tracklisting is correct
4) Replace first disc with second disc
5) Notice that the track listing is identical to the first disc's listing (i.e.
incorrect)
