[Bug 97253] Re: xchat reconnects on the wrong port number

2007-08-10 Thread David Corrales
This bug just cost me 2 weeks without IRC... please fix it, and add an
option to change the port one wishes to connect to.

Re: [Bug 109312] Re: Tray icon plugin works erratically

2007-06-21 Thread David Corrales
I'm having the exact behavior as Daniel now. As soon as a message arrives, I
can safely use the tray icon.

On 6/21/07, Daniel Bartholomew [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote:

 After I start xchat-gnome, I get the xchat_command called without a
valid contex error when I click on the notification tray icon to hide
 the application window.

However, as soon as someone sends a message in one of the channels I'm
connected to, the notification tray icon starts behaving properly.

To me, it appears that when the notification icon is loaded into the
tray, it is not really loaded and running until something happens in
one of the channels. The preferred behavior would be for the icon to be
fully functional right from the start when the Notification preference
is set to Always display notification icon.

 Thanks.

[Bug 109312] Tray icon plugin works erratically

2007-04-23 Thread David Corrales
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: xchat-gnome

When using the system tray plugin notification icon, I get an erratic
behavior. For example, initially, if I click on the tray icon (to hide
the xchat-gnome window), I get an error similar to this one: xchat
gnome plugin called without a valid context. The window is not hidden
of course.

After a while, and after switching desktops and windows, the icon starts
working and does so until I close the program. When reopened, the bug is
back.

This was not happening in Edgy. Now after upgrading to Feisty, I get the
bug in both my machines.

[Bug 109312] Re: Tray icon plugin works erratically

2007-04-23 Thread David Corrales
I'm using xchat-gnome. The exact error is: Sound Notification xchat_command
called without a valid context.
After I disable the sound plugin I still get the same error, and the window
won't minimize to the taskbar.

[Bug 91716] Re: [apport] yelp crashed with SIGSEGV on first start in fresh install

2007-03-12 Thread David Corrales
I'm also having the same problem. When I start yelp, it crashes
inmediately. I'm using Feisty completely upgraded.
