[Bug 277372] Re: lenovo x200 incorrect resolution gnome prop. crash SIGSEGV in strcmp()
Just as a side note. I no longer have this problem any more, i've been using 9.04 since about alpha 4 and haven't noticed any problems similar to this. [Bug 322769] Re: it is not possible to write with the current set of plugins
-I have also encountered the same probm on 9.04-x64 (x200 thinkpad) jaunty-b up to date as of today, I've been just upgrading since alpha 5. -When I open brasero, click on video project, add a video (.avi or mp4 or w.e) and hit burn. I am greeted with the message not possible with the current set of plugins -which I'll admit is better then before were I just had a grayed out burn icon in alpha 6 or so but still dosen't help me much :p. Is there maybe a file thats specifically missing for x64? I was looking in gnome's bug report and they said the problem was fixed, listing all the plugins needed, but I can't find all of them in the repos. I've tried installing just about any plugin i could find from the repos. -unfortunately I had to resort to burning the dvd on a windows computer for the sake of time. :( Thanks guys/gals! Let me know of anything I might be able to do to assist. -links::http://markmail.org/message/6iocyd4srbp66plm#query:gnome%20brasero%20plugins%20missing+page:1+mid:3764gczveo2j4ymi+state:results -links::http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=564169#c6 Brasero 2.26.0 ** Attachment added: Brasero can't make movie, missing plugins? http://launchpadlibrarian.net/24446364/brasero-debug.txt -- it is not possible to write with the current set of plugins https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/322769 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 277372] Re: lenovo x200 incorrect resolution gnome prop. crash SIGSEGV in strcmp()
Even with a fresh 8.10 install the resolution is still incorrect and the top gnome bar doesn't cover the whole screen. The login screen resolution is also incorrect even after mirrored is switched off and corrected to 1280x800 on the desktop. So! I wanted to Point this link out to anyone who has an x200 with the screen resolution problems. The xorg on this site (10/31/08) Running fresh 8.10. works perfectly for me. Re: [Bug 277372] Re: lenovo x200 incorrect resolution gnome prop. crash SIGSEGV in strcmp()
When I did a fresh install with the beta i386 the default resolution was limited because it was set to mirrored. In the past this caused several problem. I have noticed more recently that new intel drivers were included in an update a few days ago. Since then I have experience absolutely no problems with the resolution or panel bars. I do not know if this is true with a fresh install or not however. When I create a new user the default resoultion is still wrong however and by unchecking mirrored the resolution goes back to 1280x800 (what it should be) the panel bars are in the wrong positions however and the pc needs a restart, and then you have to move the bars into the correct position. The major problems are gone however, (thouse being, part of the screen unusable/blacked out, un movable incorrect panel positioning. Thank you for your hardwork. I belive the worst is now behind us. [Bug 218898] Re: Repeatedly switching from AC to battery dims LCD to zero
I have this problem as well on my m1330, but what is more annoying is when adjusting the brightness, when i push the fn-up keys once the backlight goes to 50% and when pressed again, 100%. There is no gradual change. I can't put the back light at 25% or 75% only 0, 50% or 100%. -- Repeatedly switching from AC to battery dims LCD to zero https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/218898 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
