This bug also affects systems with VLAN interfaces. Send files in your ~/Public folders are OK. Seems there is not a workaround so far. I confirm the same problem between Thinkpad T400 and HTC Incredible S. Workaround: Seems I checked “Share public files over Bluetooth in Personal File Sharing Preference panel, then I could send files in ~/Public folder to my smart phone.
