I fix my laptop! Same issue in intrepid 8.10 although if I make the copy with brasero to a iso image and then use nautilus-cd-burner application to burn de resulting iso to the DVD it works that way and no errors. I have the same problem before upgrading to intrepid y solved using xtknight PPA repository , but now in intrepid went back with the same problem .
