[Bug 55045] Re: DAAP shares not listed
Default Dapper version of RB. DAAP sharing works perfectly. It is not the problem. Problem is: RB doesn't list any other shares. It does share, but cannot play what others share. -- DAAP shares not listed https://launchpad.net/bugs/55045 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 55045] DAAP shares not listed
Public bug reported: Rhythmbox cannot list other DAAP shares. I've got mt-daapd running and Banshee lists it immediately, while RB not. Also, when I have RB, Banshee and mt-daapd on the avahi-discovery sees 3 shares, Banshee sees 2 other shares and RB sees nothing, although it shares library. ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Untriaged Status: Unconfirmed -- DAAP shares not listed https://launchpad.net/bugs/55045 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 31517] Re: hal-device-manager does not load
I'm still getting the same errors / problems other have mentioned, and I'm running the latest version of Dapper (fresh install, just installed it yesterday). It hangs at boot after: Starting Hardware abstraction layer hald...[ ok ] Then says: Internal error Failed to Initialize HAL! After bootup lshal doesn't work, it says that HAL isn't running, but does work after I run: sudo /etc/init.d/dbus restart Re-installing HAL isn't really a good solution, as uninstalling it will also remove ubuntu-desktop, and a few other (somewhat) crucial packages... Here are some of the versions of the software I'm running, they might prove useful: hal 0.5.7-1ubuntu18 hal-device-manager 0.5.7-1ubuntu18 dbus 0.60-6ubuntu8 dbus-1-utils 0.60-6ubuntu8 -- hal-device-manager does not load https://launchpad.net/bugs/31517 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
