[Bug 405793] Re: nautilus double click not working

2012-12-16 Thread DrKay
It is occurring intermittently still. I can confirm this on my Lenovo
ThinkPad X220 and a friend's desktop PC, both running Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.

It is reproducible, but since it occurs intermittently, it makes it
difficult to see. Go into Nautilus and try double-clicking items.
Adjusting the double-click timeout does not help.

[Bug 668074] [NEW] Subject Line in Evolution is not Spellchecked

2010-10-28 Thread DrKay
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

When composing a new email in Evolution, the OS does not spell check the
subject line of the message one is composing.

I am using Ubuntu 10.10 Netbook Remix with Evolution 2.30.3.

To reproduce the bug:

1. Open Evolution
2. Click New to compose a new email message
3. Deliberately type a misspelled word in the subject line.
4. Notice that the system does not underline the misspelled word.
5. Copy and paste the misspelled word into the body of the new email and notice
that the system underlines the misspelled word in red in the body, but not in
the subject line.

I'm using Evolution 2.30.2 now with Ubuntu 10.04 (thanks to Jacob
Zimmerman for making this available via his repository). Unfortunately,
the notes fields still do not sync with Google Contacts.

Was the bug closed upstream without the problem with the Notes field
being fixed? Should this bug be re-opened?

[Bug 553082] Re: hangs while opening trash if there are files with emblems inside

2010-05-16 Thread DrKay
I suggest that a bug of the trash not working in an operating system
merits a label of more than low importance. A sophisticated user will
figure out how to empty the trash by browsing to it, but a newbie will
likely go back to Windows or Mac. It could be a deal-breaker for them.

Anyway, thank you for working on this important bug!

2009-12-17 Thread DrKay
@Pedro Villavicencio

Is this reproducible?
Yes

If so, what specific steps should we take to recreate this bug? Be as detailed
as possible.
1) Create a gmail account.
2) Open gmail contacts.
3) Import or add some contacts, and fill in some text data to some Notes
fields.
4) Open Evolution
5) Click New - Address Book
6) Select Google for Type
7) Imput your gmail account username
8) When prompted, enter your password
9) Allow your contacts to sync
10) Click on Contacts in Evolution
11) Select the address book for your gmail account
12) Select a contact for which you added note data in Gmail
13) NOTICE THAT YOU CANNOT VIEW THE NOTE DATA
14) Select any contact
15) NOTICE THAT YOU CANNOT TYPE IN THE NOTES FIELD OF THAT CONTACT IN EVOLUTION
