that compiz has crashed. Since then, I have seen nothing about compiz on
login, but trying to start compiz manually from a terminal also causes
it to segfault.

here is the terminal output

[Bug 112127] nautilus unable to open files or new windows

2007-05-03 Thread Edward Amsden
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

In a new install of fiesty, the desktop icons (files) that i have added
do not function, and I am unable to open any file browser window.
applications other than nautilus can be launched from the application
menu, and function perfectly. `nautilus --browser` also fails to open a
new window. Inserting a usb flash drive opens a window, but the window
is unresponsive to mouse and keyboard. An icon also appears in the
desktop and places menu, but this icon also fails to bring up a window.
The system is a toshiba satellite a-10 laptop with a 2ghz intel
processor, 256mb of ram, and a 30 gb hard drive.

** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu)
 Importance: Undecided
 Status: Unconfirmed
