[Bug 198111] Re: Evolution and Google calendar
With Evolution 2.24.3 in intripid (on an intel 64bit machine) I can easily add the google calendars (I have my own and some shared, which I have write access to). The event in the calendars show up nicely. But the following things I have been unable to achieve: 1) Update/Create an event in evolution which would then be synced to google calendar. 2) Update/Create an event in google calendar which would then be synced to evolution. Using wireshark to look at the traffic I notices that the google- calendar integration suffers from the same issues as the CalDAV integration: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution-caldav/+bug/138746 Basically Evolution wants to ask for the OPTIONS and google says HTTP/1.1 501 Not Implemented. -- Evolution and Google calendar https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/198111 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 138746] Re: CalDAV calenders do not work
Trying to connect to Google Calendar with CalDAV does not work either. Using Wireshark I found the following: OPTIONS /calendar/feeds/xx...@gmail.com/private-b5a70461d8733f6d02feafa0ec0bce57/basic HTTP/1.1 Host: www.google.com User-Agent: Evolution/2.24.3 And the server responds: HTTP/1.1 501 Not Implemented Content-Type: application/vnd.google.gdata.error+xml Transfer-Encoding: chunked Date: Sun, 22 Mar 2009 19:32:21 GMT Expires: Sun, 22 Mar 2009 19:32:21 GMT Cache-Control: private, max-age=0 X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff Server: GFE/2.0 errors xmlns='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' error domainGData/domain codeNotImplementedException/code internalReasonOPTIONS is not supported/internalReason /error /errors Now, why is this OPTIONS call so important? Could Evolution not just try it and if it does not work use GET to fetch the calendar? -- CalDAV calenders do not work https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/138746 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 290753] Re: Multiple applications have stopped the suspend from taking place. vlc : Playing some media
I have the exact same problem. I have had to restart my browser a couple of times, this has led to the fact that it now says: vlc: Playing some media vlc: Playing some media vlc: Playing some media I assume if I keep launching vlc inside the browser and shutting it down more will come. -- Multiple applications have stopped the suspend from taking place. vlc : Playing some media https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/290753 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-power-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
