[Bug 55350] crash on powerpc
Public bug reported: The program crashes on startup. Playing with pdb I've found that the crash occurs on line 70 of the file /usr/lib/python2.4/site- packages/Alacarte/MainWindow.py: -- [EMAIL PROTECTED]:~$ pdb `which alacarte` /usr/bin/alacarte(21)?() - import sys (Pdb) break /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/Alacarte/MainWindow.py:70 Breakpoint 1 at /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/Alacarte/MainWindow.py:70 (Pdb) continue /usr/lib/python2.4/site-packages/Alacarte/MainWindow.py(70)run() - self.editor.applications.tree.add_monitor(self.menuChanged) (Pdb) step Segmentation fault -- I'm also attaching a (long) valgrind output file. [Bug 41661] Crashes when selecting mathematical symbols in some PDF files
Public bug reported: Affects: evince (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: Evince crashes if I select the mathematical symbols in some PDF files. Such a file can be found at http://www.mat.uniroma2.it/~nicolo/Soluzioni.pdf; selecting the first integral symbol on the second page is sufficient to reproduce the crash on my system. [Bug 32006] Audio CD burning not working
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32006 Comment: I tried with a single ogg file instead of a full playlist as in the original report: after two minutes of Converting title_of_the_song without any action performed I gave up, since oggdec decode the file in way less time than two minutes. This is the (hopefully) relevant part of the rhythmbox -d terminal output, please let me know if you need the full file (I did not include it because it was very long): --- [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_source_burn_playlist] rb-playlist-source.c:541 (17:59:08): burning playlist ** (rhythmbox:23757): WARNING **: No property volume.disc.capacity on device with id /org/freedesktop/Hal/devices/volume_empty_cd_r [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_close] rb-recorder-gst.c:857 (17:59:12): Closing rb_recorder [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_gst_free_pipeline] rb-recorder-gst.c:269 (17:59:12): Freeing rb_recorder pipeline [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_construct] rb-recorder-gst.c:541 (17:59:12): Constructing element src [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_construct] rb-recorder-gst.c:551 (17:59:12): Constructing element typefind [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_construct] rb-recorder-gst.c:554 (17:59:12): Constructing element decoder [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_construct] rb-recorder-gst.c:561 (17:59:12): Constructing element audioconvert [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_construct] rb-recorder-gst.c:567 (17:59:12): Constructing element audioscale [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_construct] rb-recorder-gst.c:572 (17:59:12): Constructing element capsfilter [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_construct] rb-recorder-gst.c:576 (17:59:12): Constructing element encoder [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_construct] rb-recorder-gst.c:581 (17:59:12): Constructing element sink (rhythmbox:23757): GLib-GObject-WARNING **: IA__g_object_set_valist: object class `GstCapsFilter' has no property named `filter-caps' [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_construct] rb-recorder-gst.c:625 (17:59:12): Pipeline construction complete [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_sync_pipeline] rb-recorder-gst.c:795 (17:59:12): Syncing pipeline [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_sync_pipeline] rb-recorder-gst.c:820 (17:59:12): Pausing pipeline [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_sync_pipeline] rb-recorder-gst.c:795 (17:59:12): Syncing pipeline [0x10133cd8] [rb_recorder_sync_pipeline] rb-recorder-gst.c:797 (17:59:12): Playing pipeline [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (17:59:16): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792 (17:59:16): no save needed, ignoring [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (17:59:26): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792 (17:59:26): no save needed, ignoring [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (17:59:36): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792 (17:59:36): no save needed, ignoring [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (17:59:46): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792 (17:59:46): no save needed, ignoring [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (17:59:56): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792 (17:59:56): no save needed, ignoring [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (18:00:06): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792 (18:00:06): no save needed, ignoring [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (18:00:16): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792 (18:00:16): no save needed, ignoring [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (18:00:26): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792 (18:00:26): no save needed, ignoring [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (18:00:36): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792 (18:00:36): no save needed, ignoring [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (18:00:46): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792 (18:00:46): no save needed, ignoring [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:749 (18:00:56): saving the playlists [0x10133cd8] [rb_playlist_manager_save_playlists_async] rb-playlist-manager.c:792
[Bug 32858] Crashes when playing multi-stream ogg audio files.
Public bug reported: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/32858 Affects: gstreamer0.10 (Ubuntu) Severity: Normal Priority: (none set) Status: Unconfirmed Description: totem-gstreamer crashes when playing an ogg file with multiple logical streams (I don't know if this is the correct definition, ogginfo output will follow); in particular it plays only the first stream and then crashes when I close it.
