I experience this everyday. I don' t know if it is related to my recent change of theme to Arc-Dark and icon to Papirus-Dark. It still presents at 14.04. The login screen when you input the password is fine. But after that, you hit enter to login, and you see on the larger monitor, a mess of graphics is shown. I manually blacklisted nautilus in the source code and it's fine for me. I cannot understand why so few people has found this bug annoying. It's still present in Quantal.
