Re: [Bug 841541] Re: num lock is on warning remains even after num lock is turned off (thinkpad, numlock status for laptop and external keyboard different)

2012-03-23 Thread George Pollard
FWIW I got this not on a desktop machine, not a thinkpad, but I was
connected via a KVM switch which might have something to do with it.

[Bug 841541] Re: num lock is on warning remains even after num lock is turned off

2011-10-13 Thread George Pollard
I reported this as: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-
screensaver/+bug/865778

My keyboard doesn't even have a num-lock key (no numpad) and it says
this on the lock screen. It is connected via a KVM switch so not sure if
that is affecting anything. I can test this later.

[Bug 271108] Re: http_proxy environment variable is not being updated

2008-09-19 Thread George Pollard
I think I've found the problem: http_proxy is being set explicitly in
/etc/environment.

I didn't put this there myself (and it wasn't there before I upgraded to
Intrepid), so I presume that this is a side-effect of upgrading to
Intrepid through a proxy?
