I get the same list of warnings if I run GIMP from the terminal. GIMP does work OK with JEPGs. However it will not load CR2 raw files via UFRaw plugin gives a “Opening 'file location & name' failed: Procedure 'file-ufraw-load' returned no return values” error . Also the stand alone UFRaw will not load CR2 files.
