[Bug 563652] Re: [Gtalk] empathy shows hidden contacts as online

2010-04-19 Thread Igor Vatavuk
Reopening, I just had this happen again, and I took a screenshot of it.
You can see that the t contact is hidden (offline) in gmail chat but online
in empathy.
I use empathy only for Gtalk so it's not another protocol or something silly
like that.

2010-04-17 Thread Igor Vatavuk
Well that is why I reported the bug because he was hidden but empathy showed
him as available.
Anyway, if this happens again I will reopen this bug report.

[Bug 563652] [NEW] [Gtalk] empathy shows hidden contacts as online

2010-04-15 Thread Igor Vatavuk
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: empathy

I was notified that my friend was online and I went to talk to him, but
then he asked how did I know that he was online, because his status was
set on hidden. I checked my empathy contact list and contact was
green with status Available. I then opened gmail and really he was
offline to me there just as it's supposed to be.

I looked for other occurrences of this bug but only found this thread -

[Bug 437145] [NEW] screen suspends after a timeout even without screensaver being active

2009-09-26 Thread Igor Vatavuk
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

Steps to reproduce:
1. Set the option to suspend the screen after one minute
2. Set the screensaver to activate after five minutes

Expected:
Screensaver activates after 5 minutes and after 1 minute the screen is
suspended (so it's 6 minutes total).

Actual result:
Screen suspends itself after 1 minute of inactivity.

[Bug 436816] [NEW] screen wakes up right after it has been suspended by screensaver

2009-09-25 Thread Igor Vatavuk
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-power-manager

In Power Manager I set that the screen suspends after 1 minute.
So I locked the screen and after one minute, the screen does turn off, but then
immediately turns back on and shows the blank screen (which is my screensaver).
This process then repeats indefinitely.

[Bug 413267] Re: clicking totem volume indicator causes the volume to become very loud

2009-08-13 Thread Igor Vatavuk
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 411042 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/411042

I don't think that this is the duplicate of that bug report.
The volume becomes loud suddenly as soon as I touch the volume control in Totem
(in the totem interface, not by going to sound preferences as in bug #411042).
It also happens if I'm trying to lower the volume.
Other applications such as Banshee don't exhibit the same behavior.

I can also reproduce this Nautilus behaviour but I think it has nothing to do

My example - open firefox make it full screen, then go to places-home and for
