No login prompt or anything on console after switch to runlevel 3/5 from
1

Step to reproduce
1) Make sure root password is set
2) login as root on console
3) `init 1` switch to runlevel 1
4) login again as root
5) `init 3` or `init 5` and no login or prompt

[Bug 859579] Re: First video switch hotkey launches unity search

I test on ideapad B550 again and yes, it looks like bios/hardware issue.

Fn+F3 and Super+P act the same after booting for a while, and when first
press of Super+P does not have this issue. I will find and test on
machines other then ideapad.

I test on another Dell laptop and can not reproduce this issue. Most
likely this is hardware/bios issue.

[Bug 860436] [NEW] It appears two mirror mode while boot up with VGA/HDMI cable and then press FN+F3 to switch display mode

Summary: When system boot up with VGA/HDMI cable plugged, then switch
display mode will show mirror mode twice

Steps to reproduce:
1. Device connected to a LCD monitor with VGA/HDMI cable
2. Boot up this device
3. System enters ubuntu then the screen mode will be Mirror mode
4. Press FN+F3 to switch display mode

Expected Result:
Display modes should be Mirror mode - Extended mode - Internal only 
mode - External only mode

Actual Result:
Display modes are Mirror mode - Mirror mode - Internal only mode - 
External only mode

Note:
If connect VGA/HDMI cable after system boot up then it won't have this issue.

[Bug 859579] [NEW] First video switch hotkey launches unity search

After user login and system idle, first pushing of video mode switch
hotkey (on ideapad its Fn+F3) will launch unity dash. After this, push
it again and it works as expected.

Fn+F3 hotkey will report Super-P event. Test on 2 ideapads and get the
same result.

Tested it on Oneiric with gnome-settings-daemon 3.1.92-0ubuntu3

Step to reproduce:
 1. booting system
 2. user login
 3. wait for system idle (after HD led is not busy)
 4. push Fn+F3

Expected result:
 Video output mode change

Actual result:
 Unity dash launched.
