[Bug 1589605] Re: evolution-calendar-factory uses lots of memory
I can confirm that this problem exists in 18.04 and that disabling the linked Google account in Account Settings worked for me. The chmod-based solution posted by titan-phpdevshell (#13) also worked, but I expect that to stop working as soon as I upgrade. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1589605 Title: evolution-calendar-factory uses lots of memory To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/1589605/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1773193] [NEW] DNS search not updated after connecting to VPN
Public bug reported: I'm using 17.10. Network manager, and openvpn also via network manager and nm applet. I'm connecting to my local network at the office (with standard access to the internet). It uses DHCP. So far, so good. When I connect to a VPN, my /etc/resolv.conf is updated to the following: nameserver 127.0.0.53 search mycompanysdomain.org myvpnprovider.org >From that point on, I can no longer access anything in *.mycompanysdomain.org. If I change the second line in /etc/resolv.conf to read: search myvpnprovider.org Then everything seems to resolve. Questions: - Should that change be applied to /etc/resolv.conf automatically by some tool? - Is it possible to change anything in the openvpn configuration or my normal network configuration so that the change to /etc/resolv.conf is applied automatically when I connect? ** Affects: systemd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to systemd in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1773193 Title: DNS search not updated after connecting to VPN To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/systemd/+bug/1773193/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 1201659] Re: gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in gweather_location_equal()
This bug affects me. I've reduced it to: 1) Go to panel, 1.1) expand locations, 1.2) click on edit. 2) Close. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1201659 Title: gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in gweather_location_equal() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-panel/+bug/1201659/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 538773] Re: Please remove python-gtkhtml2 from package dependencies
I'm still getting this in Lucid (1 day before the final release). I think bug #123582 is related to this one (as it's the one that introduced that dependency), but that was a long time ago, things may have changed a lot in two years. -- Please remove python-gtkhtml2 from package dependencies https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/538773 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-python-extras in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 173721] Re: Gnome keyboard layout options (like remapping Caps Lock) are not reapplied after reboot
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 196277 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/196277 Sebastien, I did not send this to Gnome, as I have not diagnosed that this is in fact a problem in Gnome (I only have this problem with Ubuntu Intrepid+Gnome, I did not take a look at Gentoo+Gnome, BSD+Gnome,...) I do cannot determine it is a bug in Gnome. Also, like I said before, I do not use auto-login. Therefore, this bug might not be related to #196277. Maybe this bug should be renamed as Gnome keyboard layout options (like remapping Caps Lock) are not reapplied after reboot (without auto- login). -- Gnome keyboard layout options (like remapping Caps Lock) are not reapplied after reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173721 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 173721] Re: Gnome keyboard layout options (like remapping Caps Lock) are not reapplied after reboot
I'm sorry I had to unmark the bug as duplicate like that but I'm seeing lots of allegedly duplicate bugs being closed and, like I said in a previous comment, this bug is not related to #196277. I do not have auto-login on, I do have the last version available in the latest stable release installed, and I saw the symptoms of this bug two days ago in my 8.10. ** This bug is no longer a duplicate of bug 196277 A GNOME login without keypress dosn't set GNOME keyboard settings -- Gnome keyboard layout options (like remapping Caps Lock) are not reapplied after reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/173721 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 173721] Re: Gnome keyboard layout options (like remapping Caps Lock) are not reapplied after reboot
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 196277 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/196277 Same problem here. And by the way, I think this is NOT a duplicate of bug #196277 (I don't have that auto-login feature on, and never had it). The behavior is really annoying, the configuration is not lost but it's not applied either. It doesn't happen after every reboot. My layout is es-es, but I never change it since all my keyboards (laptop, usb) use that layout.
