Public bug reported: Ubuntu 12.10 gedit version 3.6.1-0ubuntu1
Gedit crashes with syntax highlighting of "Defaults" selected in a non- empty document. Not sure what is supposed to happen, but I often select it accidentally by simply clicking on the syntax highlighting selection box. When this happened on a saved document, gedit remembered the selection and crashed every time I opened that file. Steps to reproduce (in any order): - Select syntax highlighting "Defaults" - Type anything into the document Standard Error Output: GtkSourceView:ERROR:gtksourcecontextengine.c:5421:update_syntax: assertion failed: (state->context != NULL) ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1096144 Title: gedit crashes with syntax highlighting of "Defaults" To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/1096144/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
