[Bug 881864] Re: Regression: Missing backgrounds and emblems in Nautilus 3.2.0/Ubuntu 11.10

2011-11-02 Thread James83
Bad thing, bad thing...
from the C64 epoch, before I was born, the new versions of every software or Os
can bring changes in the way the features are given to the hungry users, but
can not remove ANY feature, because the hungry and foolish users want to go
forward and not back!!!
Where is my backgrounds in browsing my folders? And what about the emblems that
remained set and that I can not change???
Bad thing, bad thing...

[Bug 127558] Orange screen after gdm log-in

2007-07-28 Thread James83
You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Hi,
I'm testing the new beta release (tribe 3) of ubuntu 7.10 . It's all perfect!
But after the first log-in in gdm the screen remains oroange (ubuntu like
color) filled and I can see only the mouse pointer. I can move it and I notice
pc activity if I do something with mouse, so I think the problem is only in the
X server. I found that if I restart gdm (sudo killall gdm etc...) all go in the
right way and gnome starts and I can use normally my system!
Tell me if you need other specific information or attachments.
Best regards
