2007-11-19 Thread Jarkko Linnanvirta

It didn't crash today. I'll send more info when it crashes again. Only thing I
can say now is that it crashes some times when it has not been used for a while
(30 minutes or more?) and then you try to open a file or do some other thing.
Maybe it is some kind of connection error?

The program didn't crash, can you tell us a few steps for trigger the
bug?

Thanks, I tried that but something went wrong. I installed the debug symbols as
instructed in the web page and the installation was completed, but when i tried
to make a backtrace, I got message sayin that the symbols were not installed:

$ gdb nautilus 21 | tee gdb-nautilus.txt

After that I tried to continue making the backtrace:

So I'm interested in knowing how to install the debug symbols correctly?

[Bug 162867] File Browser crashes some times while accessing directories through ssh.

2007-11-16 Thread Jarkko Linnanvirta
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Sorry for my bad English. Nautilus 2.20.0 (and maybe earlier versions
too) crashes some times when I'm working over ssh. It may happen if I'm
opening a folder or want to view a file's properties and so on. It does
not give any errors, just stops responding. It does NOT crash all the
time I' trying to do something, but sometimes when I'm about to continue
my work after a break.

But anyways, thanks for doing your great job! :)
