[Bug 1062007] Re: evolution-calendar-factory crashed with SIGSEGV in g_hash_table_lookup_node()

2012-10-09 Thread John Belton
I have had this report on two Ubuntu 12.10 Beta2 installations, ( both under
Wubi installs ) but in neither case could I get the access to add comments when
reporting. It occured when running Software Updater, it appeared to update
correctly but failed to reboot when it indicated, stalling both machines with
the Ubuntu logo and no access from the keyboard as if the machines froze before
the reboot signal was sent to the hardware. This happened on a Dell laptop
running a Wubi installed version in Windows Vista and on a Dell Desktop running
a Wubi installed version in Windows XP.
I can only go by the date info as this was confirmed in an email and was the
only fail reported by me this week as I couldn't access the report when it was
sent.
I also note in those installations the Launchpad access keeps offering to
install some easy access software but does nothing when I click on the button.

[Bug 1018896] Re: nautilus crashed with SIGSEGV in gtk_ui_manager_new_merge_id()

2012-07-18 Thread John Belton
I was trying to do a software update and the window closed so there was no
indication of the status of the updates. The update may have progressed in the
background as there seemed to be disk drive activity but that may have been
something else.
This istallation was in VirtualBox running in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS.
