I should mention that the above links are for the latest code i.e. what's shipped in Gnome 3.2, which currently has no support for applets so I don't think libgweather is being used at all. [Bug 587387] Re: Weather Report applet no longer retreives forecast at my location (Melbourne, Australia)
I can confirm that the forecast for Sydney no longer works either. The url to change is actually in libgweather however changing it doesn't seem to fix the problem. If I am able to fix it I will post the patch.
