[Bug 363791] [NEW] [jaunty] evolution crashes on suspend
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution On Jaunty: After resuming from suspend (to ram, haven't tried hibernate), evolution is gone. All other programs are still there. This happens every time, and is a regression, used to work in intrepid. I don't know how to go about debugging it, apport is not generating any report for it. I think it's related to losing the network. ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- [jaunty] evolution crashes on suspend https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/363791 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 89235] can no longer jump words with CTRL-arrow in gnome-terminal
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-terminal In edgy, one can navigate the command line with control-arrow (left/right) to jump over words. This is not possible in feisty's gnome- terminal. Instead it prints a control character as in the following example: [EMAIL PROTECTED] ~ $ foo;5C;5D;5C;5D As you can see, it prints a ;5C for ctrl-right and ;5D for ctrl-left. [Bug 77326] libwnck-dev is not installable

[Bug 39544] Re: epiphany does not work on a remote desktop session
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 29906 *** Epiphany refuses to start with no session daemon running, so it is unusable. There are 2 use-cases for me: - a full remote desktop login (using NX, or XDMCP) - use the dbus-launch gnome-session trick - ssh with X forwarding - use dbus-launch epiphany so I now have a workaround for both, but for users who are new to linux, or don't know the workaround, epiphany won't work, and they won't know how to fix it. This should all be transparent to the user, this trickery shouldn't be needed. In the case that you log into a remote box with SSH and X forwarding, starting epiphany should launch a dbus session daemon if it really needs one. An alternative is to run it in standalone mode or something when it's run this way? In the case of a full remote desktop login, gnome-session should spawn the dbus session daemon, not the other way around in my opinion. -- epiphany does not work on a remote desktop session https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/39544 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
