I see .ogg listed there, though admittedly I haven't tried ripping an audio CD with rhythmbox yet (don't know if I even have any :-). It looks like the message in your screenshot is not coming from Rhythmbox itself, but from the Ubuntu One Music Store Rhythmbox Plugin (see https://launchpad.net/rhythmbox-ubuntuone-music-store ). The text in question comes from ./umusicstore/MusicStoreWidget.py if you download rhythmbox-ubuntuone-music-store-0.1.10.tar.gz. I also experienced a crash when attempting to listen to this particular radio station. In my case, the stream didn't even start (not sure if I couldn't connect, or lacked the proper codec), but RB became unresponsive after attempting to play the stream. I also had to forcibly kill RB. I did confirm that rhythmbox did not crash when listening to another internet radio station ( http://ubuntu.hbr1.com:19800/tronic.ogg ) when internet access was turned off, so I suspect there is a problem with RB's handling of .asf streams in general or possibly just with the particular stream ( mmsh://220.247.227.6/live?MSWMExt=.asf ) in question.
