I had problems reproducing exactly the same error. I got it to freeze up, and the error pop coming up, though. The debug-file is rather extensive, but you probably have good filters, to clean it up. Still having the problem. I just wanted to mention, that this is not a i386 specific bug. Same here with using sip and empathy.
