[Bug 1795703] Re: Ubuntu Dock gets replaced with a standard GNOME one after a while

2019-01-18 Thread Kostiantyn Rybnikov
Yeah. Also, once again, this didn't happen in quite some time and with
big uptimes. I wouldn't bother until many more people confirm.

I think this doesn't happen anymore, didn't check logs but the dock is
there for more than 7 days now. Yay! :)

[Bug 1795703] [NEW] Ubuntu Dock gets replaced with a standard GNOME one after a while

2018-10-02 Thread Kostiantyn Rybnikov
Public bug reported:

I don't reboot my desktop and don't hibernate it, it just works for
multiple days in a row without a reboot. I only turn off the monitor
when I go out.

Sometimes, after a while, when I turn on the monitor, Ubuntu's Dock is
no longer there and what I get is the GNOME Dock which is hidden and can
be seen by pressing "Super" (which shows all windows as well). This is
annoying.

Not sure if related, but here's what I've found in the journalctl logs:
https://gist.github.com/k-bx/3a11b3ae34531a0dd2eb9cdaac97cf6c

[Bug 1786314] Re: Ubuntu freezes after "Object St.Bin (0x559700c88410), has been already finalized. Impossible to set any property to it."

2018-08-10 Thread Kostiantyn Rybnikov
Just wanted to mention that I've encountered the problem few more times,
always being on a tethered internet from my iPhone 7 and logs were
different in journalctl. I then upgraded the kernel to 4.17.14 (latest)
and it didn't hang so far!
